New domain, new look, same blog
Well, here it is. After many months surviving as an idea in my head it has finally materialised without much fanfare. This is a couple of days work. Same blog, new look and new domain. And new hosting too.
I figured that it is time that I separated my blog from my personal domain as the latter is where I would like to host my work and portfolio (coming soon). Most of the time what I write here does not lend itself in anyway to my work. In fact, it may even be bad publicity. Though that is how life is I decided not to mix the two. My opinions on life and whatnot has nothing to do with my work.
The design is typical 2 column left aligned blog. The beautiful photo of the dawn / sunset belongs to Zahid who gave me express permission to use it here. I've tried to maintain a high readability style where fonts appear large and there is ample spacing between lines. With this new release I've had to say good bye to Mr. Lenin, who has been overlooking much of the activities on the blog from his vantage point on the banner. Other details about the blog (new and old) can be read over at the all new "about" page.
There are several enhancements incorporated into this new design. Most of is has to do with the extensive use of tag information for entries. I've used it to give the reader / visitor a better experience (I hope) at navigating much of the site - which was difficult to do in the earlier version.
There is also a new comment preview feature using some nifty javascript code. A contact form for anyone to comment outside of entries (coffee invitations are welcome). I've also created an entire archive of published entries and a notable entries section for those who're keen on exploring some of the popular entries on this blog.
I hoped to unveil this design on the 30th of June - my son's 4th birthday - but that was not to happen due to time constraints. So, anyway, I hope you, the reader, will enjoy the new design. I would appreciate if you tell me what you think of it.

You replaced Mr. Lenin with a Maldivian sunset. Ofcourse it looks much better now, more reflective maybe.

hi,
congratulations for the same blog/new look/new domain, maybe a bit late but still.
Been an avid reader of your blog. I had your old feed subscribed on my Thunderbird. And now I cannot locate a RSS feed on your new design. Help me out here or maybe its just me.
