Twitter (interesting)
You might own a blog but you still have to try twitter. It's like a stripped down blog but with some differences. Entries can be posted upto the minute or even second and they can be posted via your mobile phone. In fact, posts can contain only 140 chars which is the same as a text message on mobile phone.

The basic idea behind twitter is found in the answer to "what are you doing now?". If what said about the Maldivian way of saying "nothing in particular" is true then this might be terribly boring.

Think it is just too crazy or just another blogging tool? Think again because BBC is also using it.

Also there are some very interesting tools that go with twitter. Twittermap is one. It shows twitter blurbs on a world map showing the location of the author in realtime. I texted a message and waited for me to appear. And there I was.
