Maldives Blog scene, Dead?
I wouldn't be surprised that a count of all dead blogspots belonging to Maldivians equalled that of all Maldivians who're aware of the concept of a blog. Not even a few months ago, blogging was fashionable, hip and daring. But that is changing.
Blogging is now passé. I've got more dead blogs on my bloglines subscription list than I can poke a stick at and now I'm wondering whether I should just stop using bloglines and instead type http://primary0.blogspot.com/ in the browser.
Blogging might've lost it's appeal because it has not evolved like mobile phones, for instance. Blogs are boring in comparison and require much more effort to maintain. We're too busy doing other stuff like, say, playing with our new phone for instance.
If mobile phone manufacturers stopped coming up with new designs / models tomorrow, in a couple of months owning a mobile phone would be passé too. I wonder what will happen then.
Just a thought.

if both of you aren't dead, how can you say that it's dead. We have more bloggers per capita than most other countries. So both of you can STFU and just blog .. mmm k ?

Mobile phones is searching perfection, and hence evolving. Bloggin is in its perfection perhaps and isnt changing that much! Which, ofcourse isnt too appealing to us humans who invariably prefer changes and resisting them at the same time! madness?!
